“Soup Fa”
A tasty and pretty blue coloured soup
Ingredients (to make 2 bowls of soup)

purple cabbage, large slices |
1 small head (300 gms.) |

wan ton skin (kiao) |

baby corn |
4 cobs |
4. |
baby carrot |
4 roots |
5. |
sweet peas (canned or fresh) |
200 gms. |

mushrooms (canned or fresh) |
200 gms. |
7. |
vegetable oil |
1 table spoon |
8. |
ginger |
1 thin slice |
9 |
pepper |
a small dash |
10. |
sugar |
a small pinch |
11. |
salt |
to taste (˝ table spoon) |
1. Cut the cabbage into large slices, wash thoroughly and set aside.
2. Cut baby corn into thin slices so that it looks like yellow flowers.
3. Cut baby carrots into thin slices. You may also cut groves on the side of the carrots to give it a pattern.
4. Cut mushrooms into smaller pieces.
1. Bring a large bowl of water to boil.
2. Add a little vegetable oil.
3. Add the ginger, sliced carrots and then the baby corn.
4. Drop in the cabbages.
5. Drop in the wan ton skins, a piece at a time
6. Keep stirring the soup gently while adding the won tan.
7. Add the sweet peas and then the mushrooms.
8. Add salt to taste, a tiny pinch of sugar and a dash of pepper.
9. Bring to boil and serve hot.
